Obviously this is a little to much charcoal in the fire pit, ha ha! Leave it up to me to put a 10 pound bag of charcoal on top of the wood that was already in there. But I will say that once the flames died down we had a grat hot pit to do our Smores on. Afterwards I wrapped up some big fat sweet potatoes in foil and layed them in the coals to bake. Oh boy what delicious sweet potatoes

Is there anything any better than Smores made over the firepit on a cool crisp evening.? I think not.
